Chemtrails: Aerosol Madness Above the Earth

Early in 1999, Senator Joseph Lieberman wrote an unusual letter to EPA head Carol Browner. He wanted her to address constituent concerns “about the possible release of toxic chemical substances from jet contrails” and “reports of toxic spraying over populated areas in 41 states.” Lieberman also noted “recent outbreaks of flu-like symptoms and other sicknesses in Connecticut and other states that may possibly be linked to jet fuel exhaust fumes.”

However, the EPA did not reply to this influential U.S. Senator—thus setting the tone for the egregious cover up and systematic stonewalling of this “toxic aerial spraying” issue, now a mainstay of American underground folklore.

Soon after, one of the first journalists to expose the issue, William Thomas, appeared on Art Bell’s “Coast to Coast” radio show with breaking news of a new phenomenon he calls “chemtrails.”

Thomas pointed to numerous disturbing reports nationwide. For example, The Philadelphia Daily News stated that “a wave of respiratory illnesses [had] swept the area.” A man in Eugene reports that, “my wife and I saw some rainbow-colored clouds yesterday. We are calling them ‘chem-clouds.’” Observers in Spokane counted 33 chemtrails in two and half hours. An Arizona resident reported that after heavy aerial spraying activity, “The doctor’s offices and hospitals were totally packed the next week, and one of the nurses I spoke to said they didn’t know what was wrong with everyone.”

Robert Page, director of a County Health Department in upstate New York, tells reporters, “We know there’s a lot of sickness, but our diagnosis shows that it’s not the flu.”

Thomas soon submitted the first chemtrails story ever issued over the wire services. The piece entitled “Mystery Contrails May Be Modifying Weather” offers the hypothesis that U.S. Air Force aerial tankers may be seeding clouds to modify the weather. He also cited reports by researchers that “angel hair” is being sprayed by the mystery aircraft and is being recovered on the ground. Thomas has continued his courageous journalistic coverage of the issue ever since.

Now enter Clifford Carnicom, an amateur New Mexico scientist and self-employed professional computer consultant—and unsung American hero. Another pioneer of chemtrails investigation, today Carnicom is the arguably its most veteran researcher. More recently he is founder of the Carnicom Institute in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

After witnessing weeks of massive aerial spraying over his region in New Mexico, Carnicom was moved to initiate an independent, one-man, self-funded, part-time research outfit focused on the mystery. But Carnicom is rigorous and relentless by nature. Over many years, and increasingly in collaboration with citizen-researchers all over the world, he has identified and pursued numerous areas of empirical research, with strong technical emphasis into what he prefers to call covert aerosol operations, or aerosol crimes.

These include: environmental modification (including weather control), electromagnetic operations that include the use of HAARP** and cell towers, military weapons, and global surveillance. More recently, he has focused on “biological operations,” resulting in extremely important observations that are beyond the scope of this article. (In addition to the spraying of heavy metals, Carnicom and many others have documented the very bizarre presence in the aerosols of biological pathogens, “nano-fibers,” and polymers.)

Clifford Carnicom had previously worked for fifteen years with various government agencies, including the Department of Defense, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management. Over the eleven years that he has studied the phenomenon, he has produced crucial findings that are germane to our topic of mind control and EM weapons. Carnicom has produced reliable data based on careful, well-document scientific measurements that lead to the following set of observations:

• The pervasive presence in the atmosphere of “ionizable metallic salts” (including barium, aluminum, calcium, and magnesium); these substances are chosen because they are easily ionized by the sun’s ultraviolet light, leading to the production of high levels of positive ions.

• By virtue of this aerosol process, Carnicom has documented the gradual but radical alteration of the planet’s atmosphere to create a plasma gas or plasma state. In a plasma, a certain portion of the gaseous particles are ionized, making it a distinct state of matter with properties unlike those of solids, liquids, or gases.

• Because the Earth’s atmosphere is not inherently conductive of electromagnetic waves (i.e., it contains no electrons to carry the waves), the use of chemtrails to render it into a plasma gas was necessary to enable such activity as HAARP** transmissions, as well as many other classified military or “star wars” applications related to the weaponization of space.

• The plasma state of the atmosphere also permits the use of HAARP** in altering the magnetic field of the earth, permitting very advanced applications in weather control and the alteration of the tectonic activity of the earth’s crust.

• Among the direct mind-control applications that may be inferred, Carnicom has documented ambient extremely low electromagnetic frequencies (ELF) waves that are pulsing as multiples of 4 Hertz (12, 16, 20, 24 cycles/sec). As we have noted, these are frequencies that are well-known to profoundly affect mental functioning (as well as human cellular and immunological function). “Large amounts of energy are being directed into the magnetic field of the earth by the HAARP** facility. This energy is being directed along the earth’s magnetic field lines to you. It surrounds you and you have no simple means (at least not yet) to evade it. This energy is, in part, as stated within the HAARP literature, within the ELF portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. This ELF radiation, although innocuously claimed to serve communication purposes and the like, DOES have an effect upon biological systems . . . The role of a modified atmosphere (refer to previous discussions on the plasma frequency) resulting from the introduction of massive amounts of electrically conductive particulate matter must be considered in conjunction with these disturbing findings.”

Well, is Carnicom on to something? Or was he just another obscure, independent, eccentric conspiracy researcher posting bizarre findings on a forgettable internet site?

I believe Carnicom’s work is now fully exonerated. Hundreds of citizen-researchers (and a growing coterie of anonymous academics, meteorologists, mainstream journalists, and whisteblowers) agree that we are now in the eleventh year of conspicuous aerosol operations, documented by thousands of photos on the internet and hundreds of empirical observations of aerosol spraying in hundreds of locations in dozens of countries. Daily, thousands of exasperated citizens worldwide watch the surreal display in astonishment as unmarked military tankers discolor the skies with chemicals that morph into synthetic clouds.

Because of Carnicom’s abiding presence in this field of study, he has become the nexus for many other revelations that confirm the direction of his empirical work. For just one example among very many, Carnicom early on received this astonishing “Airline Manager’s Statement,” which refers to aerosol operations as “Operation Cloverleaf.”

“Mr. Carnicom: I read the email you received from the anonymous mechanic and felt compelled to respond to it. I, too, work for an airline, though I work in upper management levels. I will not say which airline, what city I am located, nor what office I work for, for obvious reasons. I wish I could document everything I am about to relate to you, but to do so is next to impossible and would result in possible physical harm to me. The email from the anonymous mechanic rings true. Airline companies in America have been participating in something called Project Cloverleaf for a few years now. The earliest date anyone remembers being briefed on it is 1998. I was briefed on it in 1999. The few airline employees who were briefed on Project Cloverleaf were all made to undergo background checks, and before we were briefed on it we were made to sign non-disclosure agreements, which basically state that if we tell anyone what we know we could be imprisoned. About twenty employees in our office were briefed along with my by two officials from some government agency. They didn’t tell us which one. They told us that the government was going to pay our airline, along with others, to release special chemicals from commercial aircraft. When asked what the chemicals were and why we were going to spray them, they told us that information was given on a need-to-know basis and we weren’t cleared for it. They then went on to state that the chemicals were harmless, but the program was of such importance that it needed to be done at all costs. When we asked them why didn’t they just rig military aircraft to spray these chemicals, they stated that there weren’t enough military aircraft available to release chemicals on such a large basis as needs to be done. That’s why Project Cloverleaf was initiated, to allow commercial airlines to assist in releasing these chemicals into the atmosphere. Then someone asked why all the secrecy was needed. The government reps then stated that if the general public knew that the aircraft they were flying on were releasing chemicals into the air, environmentalist groups would raise hell and demand the spraying stop. Someone asked one of the G-men then if the chemicals are harmless, why not tell the public what the chemicals are and why we are spraying them? He seemed perturbed at this question and told us in a tone of authority that the public doesn’t need to know what’s going on, but that this program is in their best interests. He also stated that we should not tell anyone, nor ask any more questions about it. With that, the briefing was over. All documents in our office pertaining to Project Cloverleaf are kept in locked safes. Nobody is allowed to take these documents out of the office. Very few employees are allowed access to these documents, and they remain tight-lipped about what the documents say. Mr. Carnicom, I am no fool. I know there’s something going on. And frankly, I am scared. I feel a high level of guilt that I have been aware of this kind of operation but unable to tell anyone. It’s been eating away at me, knowing that the company I work for may be poisoning the American people. I hope this letter will open some eyes to what’s happening. Again, I wish I could give you documented information, but you have to understand why I must remain totally anonymous.”

Another confirmation that Carnicom was penetrating a monumental story was the list of visitors to his website—even in the first few years of his work. He had begun the work in 1999, and by late 2000, these intelligence, military, and defense contractors had visited Carnicom.com: Lockheed Martin, Los Alamos National Laboratory, Raytheon Defense Systems, Boeing Aircraft, Federal Aviation Administration, NASA Langley Research Center, United States EPA, USAF Headquarters (Pentagon), U.S. Department of the Treasury, Andrews Air Force Base, U.S. Naval Research Center, Honeywell, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. ###

** ABOUT “HAARP”

In 1990, the U.S. military initiated the construction of the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP), in Gakona, Alaska—originally a component of President Ronald Reagan’s so-called Strategic Defense Initiative or “Star Wars,” and sold to Congress as a tool for military communications. Very little was known to the public about HAARP until the mid-1990s when alarmed activists based in Alaska—notably Dr. Nick Begich, the son of a U.S. Congressman—began independent research into the classified aspects of the HAARP program.

It is now known that HAARP antennas project powerful pulses that literally heat a specific point in the Earth’s ionosphere. Generally speaking, HAARP’s effect on the ionosphere causes “steerable,” controllable, electromagnetic frequencies to bounce back to earth at desired locations.

The so-called HAARP antenna array is massive, much bigger than the Soviet’s Woodpecker installation; it consists of 180 antennas arrayed in a grid pattern over a 35 acre area, with a total power output capability 3.6 billion watts. As the largest ionospheric heater in the world, it is capable of heating a 1000 square kilometer area of the ionosphere to over 50,000 degrees. In regard to weather modification, HAARP’s heating effect literally lifts the ionosphere (within a 30 mile diameter area), thereby changing localized pressure systems or even altering the route of jet streams.

Other “overt” applications now admitted by the military make it easy to infer just how versatile and powerful HAARP would be as an electromagnetic weapon. These now include: improved communication with submarines using ELF waves; over-the-horizon radar communications; the ability to wipe out an enemy’s communications in a large area; and earth-penetrating tomography which can be used to verify compliance with peace agreements or geophysical probing to find oil or mineral deposits.

The use of HAARP frequencies for black-budget applications such as generating catastrophic earthquakes and weather warfare applications—both with political objectives—are widely discussed and reasonably well documented. The covert applications of HAARP that concern us here are its use on humans in nonlethal warfare.
